“YOGA DAY AT SCHOOL”
Organising a yoga day at school can be fun and enriching experience for students and teachers as well.
The session started with a brief discussion about yoga,its benefits and basic principles.
The students were explained the simple breathing exercises and mindfulness.
It began with gentle stretching exercises to prepare the body .
They were taught a series of simple and age appropriate yoga poses that included a mix of seating, standing and balancing poses.
The session concluded with a short guided meditation or relaxation session where in the students were encouraged to focus on their breath and relaxation.
The students were told to incorporate yoga into their daily routines.
In the session the management of Scholars Public School created a memorable and beneficial Yoga Day for the students.
