Campus of Scholars Public School, Rajpura, buzzed with the Lohri festivities as the School Chairman,Mr. T.L. Joshi, and Director, Ms. Sudesh Joshi, made their gracious presence, along with all the staff members and the students who joined for the holy bonfire of Lohri and sought blessings for the prosperous new year and highly prolific days ahead. Foot-tapping dances, Punjabi and folk songs , a dance to the tunes of “Dulha Bhatti wala”, colourful giddha and popcorn, groundnut, rewri distribution marked the occasion.With a short cultural show and the views about the festival, program included a promise to carry the ethos of progress, harmony and respect for all.
The festival embodied a spirit of brotherhood, unity, gratitude and merrymaking generating a lot of happiness and cheer. School Director, Ms. Sudesh Joshi extended her kind wishes with the hope that the coming year would bring happiness in the lives of the students,teachers , parents and the entire humankind.
