FESTIVITY WITH FUN

On the eve of Karva Chauth Scholars Public School, Rajpura organised a function with the blend of fun and tradition. Various stalls were set up exhibiting the vibrant bangles, mehndi cones, assessories and a lot of eatables including sweets and snacks.

Mehndi or Heena is associated with positive spirits and good luck. lt holds a lots of cultural significance in Indian traditions.

Keeping this in mind the school organised a MEHNDI ART COMPETITION. The girls from all the classes participated with enthusiasm and showed wonderful response. The zealous participants etched out awe-inspiring creative and beautiful designs. Avneet Kaur of class X won the first prize. Amandeep Kaur of IX class got second prize while Nancy of class VIII and Harnoor Kaur of Class VII got the third prize.

On the eve of Karva Chauth the chairman Mr T.L. Joshi, the Director Mrs Sudesh Joshi and the Principal Mrs Bharti Joshi extended their warm wishes to the staff and said that such activities enhance the creativity and imagination of the students in the field of art.
