In accordance with the CBSE circular, Scholars Public School, Rajpura organized the special screening of the inspirational film “Chalo Jeete Hain” between 17th September and 1st October 2025. The program was conducted with great enthusiasm to inculcate values of service, empathy, and responsibility among students.

The event began with a formal invitation to the “Seva Heroes” of the school, including the support staff—watchmen, cleaners, drivers, and helpers—who were welcomed as the Guests of Honour. Students themselves prepared and delivered the invitations, making the gesture heartfelt and meaningful.

The film screening was attended by students and staff members, who watched attentively and absorbed the message of living for others. After the screening, an interactive reflection session was conducted by teachers, where students expressed which scenes touched them most and shared ideas on practicing seva in their own lives. Some of the invited “Silent Heroes” also shared their experiences, which deeply inspired everyone present.

This was followed by a Seva-Honouring Ceremony in which the Principal, Head Boy and Head Girl felicitated each support staff member with a certificate of gratitude and a token of appreciation, accompanied by thunderous applause from the students. The emotional moments created a strong bond of respect and gratitude within the school community.

A writing session was also organized, where students penned letters to the Hon’ble Prime Minister, reflecting upon the lessons learnt from the film and pledging to practice values of service, compassion, and empathy.

The event was documented and highlights were shared on the school’s social media handles, tagging official government accounts to spread the message wider. The initiative successfully inspired both students and staff to embrace the values of character, service, and responsibility, making it a memorable and value-enriching experience for all.
