Scholars Public School, Rajpura commemorated the birth anniversary of former President of India, Dr A.P.J . Abdul Kalam by organising an Inter school Competition on the topic - What will you do at home if any member of your family suddenly falls and becomes unconscious.
The chief guest for the occasion was Dr Neeraj Bhardwaj who is associated with Bhai Kanhaiya Singh society and is a former student of Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. The guest of honour was Mr Kaka Ram Ji from Red cross Society.
The principal Mrs Bharti Joshi welcomed the dignitaries and the teams from the various schools.
The team from Scholars Public School won the first prize and the second prize was won by Carpe Diem School. Consolation prizes were given to S.D. Public School and C.M. Public School.
The chief guest appreciated the efforts of the Scholar Public School for organising such motivational events. They also honoured the Director Mrs Sudesh Joshi by presenting a sropa and a shield.
On this occasion the chairman Mr T.L . Joshi and the Director Mrs Sudesh Joshi recalled the inspirational values of the former President of India and motivated the students to follow the footsteps of this great man by putting forward the example of hard work , resilience and positive attitude.
